Anyone else spend all of winter counting down to Spring just to skip through it and desire nothing more than Summer? Because, same.
While the hints of warm weather are peaking through, I have found myself focused on linen, cotton & everything in between. I guess for me, Spring is the appetizer to the main course and I get to start mixing in what I’ve been collection throughout the months prior.
As I claim minimalist up and down, during the spring/summer months, I do steer towards this variation of 90’s nostalgia meets island energy meets clean girl. Aka, Olsen hair, crisp button down poplin shirts, sheer everything & pearl accents (did I nail that or what?!)
I’d be selfish to not share what I’ve pulled the trigger on already, and what I plan to in the VERY near future.
+ St. Agni Sheer Linen Top - (selling out fast, more sizes here) Everything you want in a spring/summer staple. Linen, subtle yet sexy, chic. I got the size XS and feel it runs true to size. I’m doing this with a silk skirt / vintage denim shorts (another option here). It looks best clean with nothing but nipple covers underneath but I will probably wear with a bikini!
+ Zycloom Pearl Anklet - I saw Courtney Grow wearing this anklet & have had it in my cart ever since. The length options, and iridescent white make it a sure winner paired with everything down to classic Havianas.
+ Miu Miu Riviere Sandal - (sidebar; I prefer the black but the brown color is everywhere) I cannot lie. I am borderline in love with these sandals. Here me out; they are practical, and the older I get, the MORE I live for this sh*t. It’s giving cool hot mom who hikes & beaches with her young active kids. I’m half those things & ready to play the part! Pair them with one, or two, or three anklets - CUTE. Not sure which came first, but there is a far less expensive version if you want to skip the investment on this ‘trend’.
+ Posse Mini Dress - Classify as a beach cover up, a farmer’s market mini with sneakers & a cute hat, a European adventure essential, shall I go on? Vintage styles like this can go anywhere from $250+ and that’s if your lucky enough to find one without stains. I’m hitting checkout as I type.
+ Anni Lu Shell Ring & Chan Luu Pearl Necklace - elevated island girl activated. I’d wear one, or the other, never together.
+ Bagatiba Agate Necklace - I’ve been following this brand for over a decade, and grab an occasional piece to shoot for CLYQUE here & there. Recently we used this necklace for a 90’s inspired collection of tops and it gave this ethereal, natural energy to each look. I’m pairing it with crisp white shirts & linen to carry it through the summer! P.S. the length is adjustable, and feels very ‘Row-ish’ no?
+ Ayllón Pouch - My explore page served me this stunning piece & I’m forever grateful. Made of leather with a glass pendant, this is going to be my street style companion & wedding date until further notice. *Currently, not-so patiently waiting for the goods to arrive for my pre-order to ship!
+ Fara Homidi Essential Face Compact - Ilana Torbiner introduced me to this beauty brand via her IG broadcast channel and I immediately placed my order for this particular product that had just dropped. I got it in the color way ‘midi’ as I aim to use it primarily during vacation / with a tan. This is everything I look for in a product. Effortless, no fuss ‘lazy girl make up’. The coverage is minimal, but it is enough to address the spots we want to conceal, add a little shine & move on. Not to mention, you can refill the product and keep the substantial case for the next round.
+ Mango Sheer Cardigan & Skirt - Giving extra flowers to Mango for killing it this last year. This sheer combo is giving Kate Moss circa 1994 & I am here for it. I would actually love to see it with a bralette & brief bottom but alternatively could be iconic with a classic black bikini.
+ Donni Relaxed Shirt - And finally, the item that I ordered first thing when I opened my eyes this am (lol). I ran into an image (on Pinterest naturally) of a look that consisted of a white drawstring pant, black flip flops, a baseball hat, and a bright button down. I immediately scoured the internet and remembered this tomato red that was once served as an ad. The linen is effortless & I am still in my red era, win win.
Meet me in my broadcast channel over on IG for day to day shenanigans! xx LA
What color did you get in the leather pouch? Love this round up!
What a good round up 🤍🤍🤍
