Let’s be real, I could try to LIVE without them, I simply REFUSE to : ) We all have our cult products that are ingrained in our routine, and right now, my line up is geared towards summer needs. (Think beach waves, natural, dewy skin & a great tan!)
I sound like a broken record, BUT the ‘less is more’ motto that I apply to my wardrobe also stands strong for me in the world of beauty. I like a low maintenance, yet luxe approach where my skin & lips stay hydrated, my hair remains healthy, and my daily make up routine takes no more than 10 minutes.
Here are my current must haves;
+ Daily Stone by Kate McLeod - Listen up, if there is ONE thing you can add to your post shower ritual to truly spoil yourself, it’s this nourishing lotion bar. I was hesitant at first, the application felt weird to me, but now I am hooked. While it’s not something I use everyday (I use this lotion daily for a quick lather), I do treat myself on the EVERYTHING shower days. It’s made with cocoa butter and literally glides on your skin like silk; it is just quite delicious.
+ Overnight Repair Treatment by Soft Services - This product was designed to be placed right on your bedside table for easy access while it works overtime on our hands to give a ‘fresh manicure’ feel to weathered skin & cuticles. It contains retinol, which we love, and you can refill the mid-century-ish container with a new pod, which we also love. I’ve been using it for a few months now, and cannot stress enough how much I love this product!
+ Lip Butter Balm by Summer Fridays - Through & through, the best lip balm there ever was, and in my favorite flavor yet, ICED COFFEE! The subtle hint of brown is enough for me throughout a no-make-up day, and paired with a light liner for night, done & done.
+ N 32 Gradual Tanning Lotion by Lux Unfiltered - Yes, I use a tanning lotion in the summer. Why? Sun Damage. That, and the fact that I can’t get a good tan for the life of me these days. It is either far too hot to lay out & concentrate on a tan, or I’m not getting any decent color & just burning. I find that with using a tanner, this one specifically, I can achieve all the same results, evenly, with a gorgeous bronze that I can rely on. It comes in various scents, and a DEEP version in case you wanted to double up!
+ Lip Definer by Victoria Beckham - If you do not already use this liner, you’re welcome! A make up artist taught me all about this liner on set, and now I am paying it forward. It lasts (waterproof), the color(s) are incredible, and it acts like a contour for your lips to truly define them. Trust me, you need it. I went with No. 2 (VB’s fave) but I am adding No. 3 to my cart now!
+ Almond Shower Oil by L’Occitane - Guys, I haven’t used L’Occitane since college (no shade). I honestly just forgot about them, and I recently was sent a few classic goodies and I am back on the train! I always loved their iconic hand lotion (smells like baby powder goodness) but I am currently coveting the shower oil. I just love the smell, and oil texture on the skin; it feels like summer, 10/10!
+ Overnight Lip Mask by Make Beauty - This lives by my bed & I look forward to applying it right before I hit the pillow nightly. The caramel goodness is rich, hydrating, and lasts all night long. I am a sucker for a good flavored moment, and there are 7 options for you to pick from. Most flavors are sadly only available for a waitlist, but they are 100% worth the wait!
+ Miracle Brush by La Bonne Brosse - GAMECHANGER. Full transparency, I never really understood the hype around brushes until I tried this one. It is a detangling machine & the nylon bristles massage your scalp in all the best ways. Not to mention, it’s aesthetically pleasing, comes in cute colors & is made in France. I now have the mini one for my travel bag & full sized for my home; never turning back.
+ The Body Serum by Sidia - Lotion(ing) is a non-negotiable part of my daily shower routine and I take it very seriously. As I mentioned above, I already have a good system in play with my luxe & daily options. However, I was sent this product recently and have found it to be worth a rave. It’s SUPER lightweight, and the scent is FRESH. The spray bottle is also genius & for these super hot days, it’s nice to have a barely there feeling while staying actually hydrated.
+ MB1 by Arrae - Where do I even start?!? My love for Arrae started with the BLOAT PILLS that I recommend to everyone - but MB1 is now also a daily staple. I take it in the morning before I eat and it helps you burn more calories, regulate your appetite, and give you more energy. What more could you ask for? It took me a few weeks to start seeing results & now that they have kicked in full gear, I cannot imagine not taking them. I should probably sign up for a subscription now that I think of it!
+ Texturizing Air Dry Mousse by Crown Affair - Overall, an amazing product that finally someone nailed. I used this recently on my ‘island hair’ (during vacation) & it did exactly what it was meant to - add natural texture and enhance my air dried waves. It also made my hair feel soft while it normally feels a bit coarse when I air dry it. SOLD.
+ Sun Melt Bronzer by Saie Beauty - Last but not least, the best bronzer award goes to Saie! I take the color ‘Tan Bronze’ for my summer glow and it does not disappoint. It is creamy, lightweight, and extremely buildable without feeling too heavy! The glow is unmatched and I find it very easy to apply. Truly a fan!!!
Hi! By cold brew do you mean iced coffee for the SF butter balm?
